THE DIFFERENCE DONATIONS MAKE: What's your story? How did we make a difference in your life?
Thanks to donations, residents of southwest Saskatchewan get the care they need close to home. From babies in the neonatal intensive care unit, to critical care patients, dialysis patients of all ages, virtually all benefit from the generous people of southwest Saskatchewan. People like you! The care they receive in Cypress Regional Hospital is better than ever because of donor-funded equipment purchases by you. Wait times are shorter, satisfaction rates are higher and access to care is well above standards. In other words, our family members and friends get world-class healthcare in the Cypress Health Region because of donors like you.
What is your story? How did we make a difference in your life? When it's needed most there is nothing more important than world-class healthcare, close to home. That's exactly what your gift brings to the people of our community. Let us know...
Together, we make a healthier southwest Saskatchewan.

Mr. Richard Lee's letter to the Foundation
How did we come to make a commitment?
We were asked by Dr. Tara Lee to considering supporting the establishment of a simulation suite. After a relatively brief discussion we asked for a proposal. After reviewing material provided by Clay Thompson of Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation we committed to a donation of $100,000.00; to be used toward the establishment of a Simulation Suite at the Cypress Regional Hospital.
Why did we make this commitment?
First of all, Dr. Tara Lee is our niece. We are very proud of her and proud of her decision to dedicate herself to the betterment of Swift Current and we believed that we should support her in this endeavour. It was Tara's idea to establish the Family Medicine Residency Program in Swift Current and the addition of the Simulation Suite will greatly assist the Residency Program and the likelihood of attracting more young medical talent to the Swift Current area.
There are many other reasons; Louise and I grew up in Swift Current Dr. Noble Irwin was Louise's father. My mother Edna, my brothers Chuck, Dick and Bill and their wives still reside in Swift Current and we have maintained a number of very good friendships with former school mates.
Finally, we wanted to do something in the memory of Louise's mother Irene and my father Lam Lee.
